I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this movie , I have seen it soooo many times I've lost count.
The best of all is the stage production ,I can think of worse ways of spending my time than being surrounded by loads of women in basques :D and it's great fun too. Okay so there's guys in basques too but thats okay because I'm a six foot two hairy arsed biker and I go costumed up too.
Has anyone else ever been to what I consider to be the absolute best musical ever written ?
I haven't been to the stage production, but back in my youth, I saw the movie dozens of times like everyone else in my crowd. Crazy! I still love that movie musical and think Tim Curry is the most hysterically funny actor to ever grace the silver screen. I agree that it's wonderful!

Hell yeah I've watched the movie dozens of times, been to one semi-big screening party, and a local live performance that a friend was in. Never lived around any place that would host a party too often :(
It's no fun when you're doing the Time Warp all by yourself around people that are like WTF are you doing?! LOL but who cares, it's a great thing to have when you DO have the right people... with toast, noisemakers, confetti, and toilet paper to throw around! What a mess!
every time i say group sex during time warps chorus people look at me wierd, I used to remember all the audience lines, but i forgot most of em now...I have been to a few stage shows, but mostly watch it in the house with a few friends gettin stoned.....good shit man.
