Leggy Plants need info please

Hi Guys if you read my grow logs you will see i am not completely new to growing. Had me a mother that got waisted by a friend, so its a new grow from seed.
Got some white widow seeds and they looked very leggy after a week or so, figured not enough light so put them in my NFT setup under 250 light and placed some supports round the weaker ones.
They have come on well

My Question is can I take clones from these when big enough to give me better stock to work with for sexing and such. Or is it a no no ??

Clones would be fine. Would definatelly grow-out a strong male for breeding, tho.

Keeping an oscillating fan on them 24/7 is your best defense against stretch like that, but bending and tying is often the remedy. But some strains are just friggin leggy no matter what you do.
Once you train the plant to a support, it's an uphill struggle getting the stems strong enough to support eventual budweight.

Were your feet dirty, I'd recommend re-vegging, but I don't even know if that's possible with hydro.

Lastly...would vote your friend off of the island before they can do any more damage in your growroom. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the imput, Have got a small fan on them as i understand the movement strengthens the stems
These being a new from seed grow will be for providing me with clones (when sexed) I am used to working with clones not plants from seed.
