Clones : switching back to 18/6 lighting?

Lets say that I had changed my lighting to 12/12 and as soon as I found a female plant in my group of plants, I took clones from her and switched the lighting on the clones to 18/6 once again. I guess what I'm trying to say is, is it possible for my clones to be stuck in bloom mode once I had switched the lighting to bloom on the original mother plant? Even though the lighting is back to veg settings on the clones? Because I had this problem before where the damn clones just kept blooming no matter the fact that I was doing veg feed and veg lighting. It also stunted them or something when I had tried to transplant them to my water farms. Anyone have a good answer to this??? I am open to some answers. Thanks in advance!!

No, you can go to flower briefly and go back. Technically you can develop buds then go back to veg although it takes a very long time I heard (never did that). I am against either because it causes a lot of stress on the plant.

Plants will reach puberty in veg, meaning that they will if left long enough begin to show early signs of sex. Some people don't go to flower until they see that, doesn't mean that they are blooming. I've heard of auto-flowering plants, I don't know if that means that when ready they will go full bloom regardless of light hours, you may want to research that keyword.

yeah, like I was saying earlier.... my clones whom I was hoping to become full blown plants would not grow any more but just kept budding. I dunno what could have fixed it but I also didn't know if maybe my hydrohut was hurting them at the time but I did have them replace my canvas with a non deadly type skin. So far I have had no issues with my "new" skin. So who knows for sure what was causing them to just constantly bloom. Thanks for the props btw. I have had a little of that problem when I don't let the mother come back to full veg. Many of the mother plant I had would keep showing just a few female pistols even after coming back to veg. After I got them back growing in veg good then my clones did very well. Although it may of been your skin on the hut or maybe temps. What strain are they ? I did have one strain that auto flowered and would not stop for anything. Sorry I forgot what it was.
