beeperless thermometer

Ok , I have completly give up smoking and beating piss tests but Santa Claus and some of his friends think drug testing is utter bs, and think you should know about this. I WOULD NEVER DO THIS to help defeat a drug test. But you would.
in pic first fron left 2 dollar store digital themometers. cost $usd 3.00 plus tax.
in pic second from left the 2 thermometers with one broken open from the battery end OMG!!! it is ruined, but we learned where the beeper is this is good! mark the location of the center of the beeper on the remaining good thermometer. Remove the battery of the good themometer. this is important!!!
pic third from left there is a drill bit what ever you can find big enough I used a 3/16. Important do this by hand!!! twist the bit slowly stopping a couple times to check progress and go slowly when breaking through to avoid damaging the printed board inside.
in bottom pic I have fished the wire out, using a needle. Your thermometer may have a small piece of brass making the contact, those are easier, just pull it away from the beeper. If you have wires like the example shown tug lightly and break the wire loose, back and forth back and forth, pull wire out. You need to get only one of the wires our as it needs both to work. Caulk up the hole with nearly any silicone caulk, replace battery and check function. it should operate normally minus the beep. Now you have a safe effective thermometer without that annoying beep

I have found that KAZ brand thermemotors do not beep.

I feel you on the kaz, but where to buy?? Dollar stores are everywhere, there are 5 in our area with out really thinking about it very hard. Plus they are cheap $3.00 each. I am going to be posting some make at home everyman's piss defense stuff here shortly and low cost and available to everyone is the recurring theme. The best way to help others is to make things that are available to all. I only see one downside if we get too good at beating them, they may escalate to hair testing, but those tests are decidedly racialy biased and that is something that lawyers on our side can use and maybe eventually slide all drug testing into the crapper. That is my goal.
