firepit ash for flower fertilizer outdoors

i read somewhere that you can use ash from fire pit for flower fertilizer ,can you and would it be sufficent enough?to get nice buds...

i wonder the same...can anyone help us out?

yes but using hardwood ash will make your soil more alkaline so becareful with how much you use.
