OK, so I just checked on my girls(4 SS clones), only been in veg for 2 days now, and 2 of them look like they have pistils coming out already. Is this normal? They are only 3-4 inches high. Just curious. Thanks again.

Depends on when the clones were takin from the mother. Was the mother ready for, or in flower? If so she basically had the pre flowers and was ready oto start producing bud. I would let them grow under 18/6 for about 2 weeks and see what happens. They might revert back to veg. If not you might have to start flowering.
Clones were taken from vegging plants. Will try and get some pics up when I get home from work.
You might be seeing preflowers or just some new leafy growth. If truely pistils, make sure you are in at least 18 hours light. Flowering this early will limit yield. If you continue to see further flowering, you may have to start flowering early. Outside or inside? If inside clones, try to revert to veg by 18/6 onward or 18/6 for 2 weeks then 24 continuous after 3rd-4th node. Probably be able to re-veg as long as you can keep em inside....
That's strange.....you might have taken cuttings from a plant that already had pistils but you did not notice. You got to check some of Latewood's posts. That guy has all the guidelines for hydroponic growing.
okay, I am growing in soil and keep the light on 24/7, is this okay, or should i do 18/6? Here are a few pics, tried macro, but first time, so sorry about quality. You are right, could be new growth coming in, but wasn't sure.
I can't access the larger images (time out error), but you may be seeing the stipules there on either side of the petiole (leafy stem / leafstalk). Stipules can look like pistils sometimes to newer growers. They are just small, slender growths on either side of a node (usually one pair on each side, stem between them). If they are more green than white, probably stipules. If they are very very slender and white (almost fragile looking) they could be preflowers...
Thanks Delta, plan on vegging them for another couple of weeks.
