cool little bug

alright so for the past 4 to 6 days there has been this one little bug in different spots everytime, but i think its the same one. He doesn't seem to want to eat my plant, but he also camoflages to it. It's cool when he is on the stock of the plant because he turns green and a pink/ light purple like my stock. he's very small maybe the size of my ring finger nail. for the most part he's green and i try and keep it off, but everyday he's back, but not munching. any suggestion on what this could be and any possible damage? thank you.

Hm, pink, green? Shield bug? To my knowledge he's not anything to worry about. Pics?

i would guess if you don't see any damage at the present and no eggs or babies around then i wouldn't bother with him, he may just love the plant as well. ;)
