what is your preffered temperature to vaporize
im trying to find that perfect sweet spot temperature for my brand new vape..
I find that the drier the bud, the lower the optimal temperature.
If the herb has more moisture content, you just have to vape off the water vapor first. Just makes for a little longer session.Quote:

i know to high of a temp will just cook allll the erb right up,, so i try to stay on a lower seting.. but is there to low of a vaping temp where the active ingredient isnt even released into the vapor??
220-240F
Too low. THC begins to vaporize around 285 F and you get efficient vaporization without toxins at about 365 F. If you've got a digital display and you're getting good vapor when the box says 220-240 F, use the display for a reference, but don't believe the numbers.Quote:

im think my temp. display is pritty accurate for when its at room temperature its matches the temperature in my house..
thc is released at the optimum temp of 180c there were tests done which showed thc to be released from a temp of as low as 140c
i like to have my volcano on setting 5 or 180c sometimes a bit lower at 170-175c although the temp fluctuates between 5 degrees each way so setting 5 does it perfectly
combustion of some toxins an plant material starts at 200c an total combustion is at around 230c
i dont know what farenheit works out to be tho
