Pinching ? Help Please
Hello all,
Just yesterday I transplanted 6 beautiful (hopefully) ladies into decently sized pots. I have been following Stinky's "Growing da Dankness" guide too the T, and I have to say it has helped me tremendously. Now I have hit a road block....
My question for you vet's is about Pinching. How and Why is this done? My babies are looking extremely healthy, some with nice thick leaves + beautiful canopy's, and I want to do everything I can to make this a worth-while grow.
If anyone could please teach me the PROPER technique to pinching, and its effects, I would GREATLY appreciate it. ( I just don't want to mess up )
PS: ALSO, when should I start LST'ing? The youngins are about 2 weeks old.
Thanks!

Pinching ? Help Please
Start training gently as soon as the plants are tall enough to be tied with a bit of soft yarn, if that's the way you want to roll.
Pinch any time after the 5th node and before 2 weeks prior to flowering.
Just remove the growing tip, and 2 or more (depending on if you get the WHOLE tip or just MOST of it) new shoots will grow in its place. Leaving the very base of the growing tip gives extra shoots and is the FIM technique. It's done to make a plant bushy and shorter than it would have been un-pinched, and to provide MORE main shoots that you can then take as cuttings and turn into your new crop.
