Question (Not sure if posted in right area)

Hi, I have a question on how to approach something. Me and my friend have been smoking together for a year or so. We buy/smoke together, but for the last two months I've been spending 50-70 dollars a week, I work hard for my money, clean my fatherâ??s house, cook for him, do his physical exercises with him, etc. He was brain injured in a car accident. He has someone hired to do those things, but I like helping him and spending time with him. The person who is hired to help him has a lot of shit going on and it helps relieve stress with me helping around the house and all. Plus my mom doesn't have a job at the moment and bills are tight as fuck, they always have been, but with unemployment playing almost nothing, considering her job was barely playing for our bills, with 60% of what she made we're behind even more than we normally have been. So I want to help her by giving her some money I get from working/I'd like to give her money for her birthday which is coming up, sheâ??s always managed to buy me shit for my birthday or Christmas even though bills were tight as fuck, and I feel I owe her something. Anyway my friend gets 20 dollars a week which he has been throwing in for our weed. And me 50-70 dollars. I'd like to smoke by my self (Can make my weed last more then like 2 Days, and just chill out and not play videogames), or smoke with my brother if he wants to. I figure it would be a good way for me and him to talk and shit. When ever I smoke with my friend we normally chill for like 5 mins after smoking and then he wants to go play video games and sit in his room, where as I would rather I guess philosophize, talk, and sit outside, look at animals and observe nature, draw/work on my book I want to write. I like playing video games when high but its very repetitive and Iâ??d rather do other things. I like smoking with him but my he isnâ??t throwing in enough money and Iâ??m using all my money to just have him smoke more weed with me that I payed for. His brother is also the one who buys for us so I donâ??t know if he might take some weed before his brother would give it to me or something like that.

I donâ??t have my license, was suppose to get it last year but havenâ??t gotten around to it, also I cant afford a car at the moment, would rather help with bills etc. So I canâ??t go out and buy from someone, only person near me who sells is a stingy bastard. I should just tell my friend to get a job or something I donâ??t know.

Also I DO NOT want to stop smoking, I've been depressed for around 7 years, pretty much failing school, and not giving a shit about life, but since i started smoking i have been getting A's and B's in school, working on my art more, and have not been depressed that much.

man I think you should just tell your friend straight up, you can't be smoking him out all the time unless he starts throwing in more. Just tell him your short on cash because of all the bills you're having to help pay for and he's gonna have to at least go in 50/50 because what you're doing is honorable, hopefully he will understand. I mean if one of my friends told me something like that, I would. Plus, my friends and i use to go in on sacks all the time and we usually kept everything 50/50.

In your financial position, I think that spending $50-$70 a week is a bit too much for your budget. You should try to reduce it somehow, maybe by smoking less while looking around for a new dealer, and then keeping a stash for mostly personal use. Trying to influence your friend to work isn't the best recourse.

What you are doing to help your parents is very admirable.

this is why i love me some sexy mexy(very good connect) $20 and im set for the week sometimes a little more. i was in a similar sitiation than you as far as my weed budget goes, and it was killing my funds way too much so now i only buy some bomb shit when ever i feel like smoking some mids or better.
its good your trying to help your parents. Im sure that they will gladly appreciate it. and whenever you need help it will probably make it easier for you to ask. sometimes it can be hard to ask for help.
