Edges curling up indicates high temperatures. Go down to 72-78 day/65-72 night.
Water heavily next time your plants need it, and save some of the runoff to test for pH.
You will be ready to feed at 1/4-1/2 strength and re-pot in about 1 week.
Moving to problems for more responses.
so could it more than likely be a ph problem then SA? am i over feeding them?
i have moved the lamp alot higher now to control temps... thank you
It's possible; IMVHO any time you see a problem, runoff pH is the first thing you should check, just to eliminate it as a possible cause. Room temps are easy because you walk in and say YOWZA it's muggy in here. Runoff pH notsomuch. So you have to test it.
Those don't really look overfed though. Just warm, and the pale blotches could hint at a acid soil environment.
oh btw i literally only just repotted a couple of days ago.. should i repot again?
oh and my nute mix is 10 litres water / 40ml CANNA Terra Vega / 20 ml Rhizotonic...
so u reckon i should check the ph (been meanin to do tht for a while actually what a lazy arse! ) , dilute the nutes and then repot... not in that order though
1 lower temp ( i have moved lamp high as i can, dnt have temp controls this is hard to get right as i am only goin by the lamps temp 250w MH.. and opening vairous vents.. dar its quite hard to get accurate doing this!!)
2 water heavy next feed ( just water )
3 save runoff & pH check..
4 repot in a week and diltue nute mix ( ill add another 3+1/2 litres water to the mix )
i figured the curling was from heat stress ( tho thanks for letting me know )
but in a nut shell could u give a guess at what the patches are from too ?
from the sounds of your reply im guessin yr saying its over feeding...
thanks SA i know yr a busy lady! :icon220:
soz to my last reply, i hadnt seen yr second one lol
ok cool so im off to buy a ph kit :P
as per room temps im a on a tight budget and not yet bought a ext fan yet ( awaiting flower bloom ) although not quite sure how this will affect temps!
hey o think i might get a thermometer too while im there! thanks again SA!
will ph check both water in nutes and run off
thank you :)
Okay, check runoff first. You may not need to re-pot; I think if your pH is fine, or you can adjust it easily, you will be able to wait 1-2 weeks before repotting. And of course keep temps low.
