HELP - Black spots on my plants (newbie)

I am new this growing this. i do well with basic cooking herbs. There are now tiny black spots on my leaves. what do i do? the soil is moist. i water about eveyother day or so, i try to let the soil dry out some so i do not drown the plant. the leaves are starting to wilt. and they were looking sooo beautiful yesterday. my other set is turning pale green. these are my testers to learn how to before i do a better batch. HELP!!!! i have them in a room that gets natural bright sunlight for about 12+ hours...mostly morning light which they seem to love. for my other plants, i would just use a listh soap/water solution then rinse a few hours or so later. will this work?
