Did anyone ever use the Sunset Collective?

Im just curious if anyone had ever used this certain Dispensary. Supposedly they were shut down at some point and I bought a BUNCH of there stash-jars for auction on ebay. What kinda dispensary was this? anyone happen to have any pics of it? Wanna try and get a little history out of where these jars have been!

They used to be in a small shopping plaza on the northeast corner of Sunset & LaBrea in Hollywood - around the corner from our former location. Unfortunately, Sunset Collective and City of Angels Wellness Center (along with many other Hollywood Co-ops)were both victims of the July 23, 2007 DEA raids.

Thank you so much for the info! So do you think the person i bought these off of must have gotten these from a DEA asset liquidation auction or from the caregivers? I really hope it was from the caregivers cause I will feel really guilty if I gave a cent to anything supporting the DEA...

do you have a job? If so, you give to the DEA every day through your tax dollars. The only way to beat that is to have an underground income and not declare it for taxes. I wish I could find a way of "earning off the grid", short of the obvious but legally perilous solution.

Rob, since you posted in June and they were closed by DEA in late July, my guess is: You bought them from a Rob 'r ! lol!!! Probably not DEA. That should make you feel better. I can understand, do not contribute any more against yourself than you have to legally! :thumbsup: PR

I believe the owner has another shop in Malibu. Was "Sunset Collective" printed on the jars? If so, he probably didn't have any use for them. It's also possible that a former patient may have accumulated the jars and decided to sell them.

I can tell you that the DEA confiscated only our meds during the raid - nothing else. They were in and out very quickly - and from what I understand, it was the same at all the places hit that day - except for the collective on El Centro and Santa Monica.
