A question regarding well water...
So I ditched the analog pH stick meter I had been using in favor of the simple color solution test kit method. According to this kit, my tap water (which comes out of an 800ft well) is rating somewhere between 6.6 and 6.9.
It appears my 3 phase Aquasana filtration system is doing something - problem is, I can still detect a slight odor of sulfur in the water, no matter how fresh the pre-filter on the system is.
My question is, can the presence of this egg smell screw with our favorite leafy veg?
Does hydrogen sulfide wick away from an uncovered vessel the way chlorine in municipal water does?
