Hello from the wet midwest
Hi all,
I can't seem to pull myself off this site since I found it.
I started some bagseed since the kids are gone now. After a horrible start in the windowI watched the "I grow chronic" videos. So then I set up a drip system for vag and a e&f for flowering like in the video.
Then I find this site and go from drip to DWC, and now I think I will go with aeroponics (thanks Hatch).
The window plants have been rescued and put under lights, they are doing much better now, but they are in dirt and all the systems I built are for hydro.
We'll see how it goes. I have seeds on order and will probably start a log when they come in.

Hello from the wet midwest
Looking forward to seeing your plants, your current gro, how you started, etc and present pix would be nice! You are much braver than I. I keep reading so much before I decided to try some bagweed seeds, and then did it on a lark and no sprouts! Lucky you. Welcome to a nice place to learn! With a lot of helpful people. Tons of info! Hope you find a system you like.
Have been to Wis. many times, seems like you ought to be able to gro just about anything there! So long as you can protect it from Bambi! I like the wildlife there, hope you are not in the area of flooding! Take care of those babies! What u gonna do when the kids come home for a visit?? Just curious!
Hello from the wet midwest
Well, twice last week I had the shopvac in the basement. As soon as i sucked up the water it came right thru the cracks in the floor. I decided to let it go by itself. As soon as the water table goes down a little the water goes away. I just mop up after the puddles drain. I just hope it stops soon.
I am getting a lot of water from the dehumidifier for the plants though, nice and pure, better than my well with 400ppm.
Hello from the wet midwest
I lived in Madison for 12 years, and I grew up in Chicago.
Get yourself a sump pump.
And another dehumidifier.
Otherwise you can have mold or mildew problems later.
You may want to consider a strong UV light too.
