Rootbound problem?
I'm not sure if I was just stoned whilst I was reading this but I thought maybe I read somewhere that this clawing effect of this plant could possibly be a rootbound problem, I'm not sure if this is that exactly any ideas are welcome. I thought it could be rootbound but it was recently transplanted and I figured it would pull out of it eventually but it has seemed to creep to some lower branches. It has been transplanted since about tuesday and watered since.. If anyone has ideas for a course of action or perhaps I have no clue if my diagnosis is correct in fact, so maybe if anyone can actually tell me what is the problem.. Thanks a bunch in advance..

Details on the pots? My plants have a clawing effect but that is usually a trait of blueberry strains.

it almost looks like the first part of over watering..let it dry out a bit and see what happens..

Not exactly sure of the pot size just round plastic pots maybe holding approx 3/4- one full gallon roughly, I dont think its the strain as all are fem lemon skunk so I dont really think one would be doing that and none of the others really, not trying to dispute it just dont see how it could be.. Also as for overwatering we only water like every 3rd day and never enough to create runoff and the others have been watered the exact same amount and times as the one that is clawing.. We are using an HID fixture so usually by the third day they are dried out enough and showing that they need water.. Sorry I'm not trying to argue with you, as I really do appreciate the advice, I just dont really get how it could be either one of these problems..

I think the "rule" of thumb is something like 1 foot for every gallon container in soil.

And its a good idea to water UNTIL runoff. Let some 10-20% run out the bottom and that will help prevent salt buildup...and maybe make a mess of your floor:cool:

right on thanks to everyone in this thread whom stuck in their two cents worth... Hopefully it will pull out of it.. If not we still have 4 other lemon skunk to work with..

First pic, plant on far left- that's the nitrogen claw. Back off on your veg fert or switch to bloom fert for a couple feedings. Also, water HEAVILY to the point of significant runoff to flush some of the excess N out of hte soil.
