plants r wilting 4th week flowering help stinky

hey all, im in 4th week flowering all of a sudden plants started to wilt pretty bad roots look kinda brownish changed res yesterday using gh nutes 400 watt hps ph at 6.0 any ideas?

Fear the Dreaded Root Rot. Get some Serenade (Bacillus subtilis) in there right away if you've got it on hand, do a light mist with an anti-transpirant (Wilt-pruf, neem oil, SMC, etc but LIGHT is the key!!! Repeat if necessary but never to the point of runoff), raise your lights immediately. Your plants are losing water faster than they can replace it and you need to slow that down until the roots recover.
How is your res temp and oxygenation?
I'd also cut some chunks out of the bottom edges of the pots to improve drainage/oxygenation tothe roots.

Fixing rot is going to be a challenge. Treating with peroxide is a start, to kill the pathogens. This will also kill beneficials from the Serenade if you used it btw. Once the h2o2 treatment is complete, and you'll need to look up application rate or get a hydro person to answer that one, you'll want to run a Zyme to clear out the dead plant matter, and after a day or 2 change out your res COMPLETELY for fresh water, cleaning it as best you can.

You can get serenade at walmart and pretty much anywhere in the garden section. It's just a bacterial culture, so it's impossible to overapply. FOllow the instructions, and also search for the term 'root rot'.

man thanks again theres a walmart 1 block from here. how would you cut the pot or you think i should just get bigger pots?

I'm not sure if you need bigger pots. Hm. Tinsnips are good for cutting larger drain holes in polypots.

A little off-subject, but still in the same ball park, do SM-90 and flora-shield kill benificials? i've used these products to prevent and fight root rot in the past. i love SM-90, it seems to whiten up my roots at the beginnging of problems and used as a prventative, i've never had rotting probs. just my opinion. listen to stinky and you'll be on ur way to "growin da dankness"...

Happy Camper- I am not familiar enough with either of those products to help you there. What I can say, though, is that root rot prevention can take one of a umber of forms:
-Beneficial bacteria, for example B. subtilis.
-'Cleaning' action, basically killing all microbial life, beneficial or harmful, for example Peroxide
-Enzymes, which break down dead plant material upon which rot could take hold, for example Cannazyme
-Silica supplements, which simply add strength to cell walls, and are a sort of general plant resistance booster, not specific to root rot.

Peroxide kills beneficials. I do not know the compatibility of the products you listed. If you read the packaging, you can probably figure out which category they fall into.
