//\sensi seeds-super skunk//\ Yellow-ish leaves plus slow growers (planted on 15th)
ok so the leaves are yellow-ish at the tips and even look a lil bit see through on one! plus the nodes seem to be coming out with hardly any space inbetween! im gueesin the node might be because i put the light to close (125w cfl) its id say about 4 inches from them so ive now moved it to like 8 inches away maybe more say 10. ive used some rhizoton root enhancer and thats it. planted in un-nuted soil called "all-mix light" i think it has a ph of 7.7 i guess that could be lowered. i may flush in a week or two if i see no improvement (i cant do it yet because the soil is damp and i dont want to drown them! which im probably doing anyway as im guessin thats y on one the leaves r lookin see-through). ive added some pics for ya'll to check out! oh yeah and on 1 u can see white stuff growing on the soil:detective1:?? oh and b4 anyone says yes i know the tray is black it will be getting painted white asap! lol thanks for any help guys!:rastasmoke::rastabanna: they seem a bit slow or am i jus being impatient? when they time is stated on the seeds pack does that mean generally when u choose to switch to 12/12? cos these seem miles from being harvestable in 8 weeks lol
i think i might upgrade to a 250 MH... would tht help?

Don't paint the tray. No need to introduce other chemicals to your grow area when your seedlings are already stressed from high pH.
Go back to feeding with plain water, but give it at a pH of 6.7. The first watering, check the runoff pH and if you find that it is actually high as you say it is, you may need to flush it with pH'd water to drop it first.
Keep your lights close and don't fert until you see 4-5 sets of adult leaves.

ok well the leaves have gotten even more yellow since i posted. so what ill do is check the pH of the tap-water and the runoff water and then ask you what i should adjust the tap water to. would it be ok to use pH adjusters on seedlings like this? also im planning to buy a bucket to use as a resivoir, so i can dilute in correct amounts and heat it too.. how long do you reckon i can keep the water for before it becomes too stale to feed the plants with? also do u have a rough amount i should feed them and how often? more pics to follow. hopefully i can rescue these!

stick with diluted water and looks like your over watering try mixing that soil with topsoil next time because it may be to harsh that's what it looks like from my past experiences with plants that looked like that with slow slow growth and yellowishness after popping up looking pretty good.

Hey,
Listen to stinky, I assume the soil you've got is bio-bizz light mix? If it is thats the ideal soil for seedlings. It should say on the pack the ph of the soil, I use bio-bizz all mix and its got the ph on it, i think it's 6.4. Like stinky said you should check the ph of your water and your runoff as thats the most likely cause. The problem isn't with your light, get that back down close, around 3-4 inches for now i'd say.
As they're still very small I only like to water tiny amounts, probably a cup full of water will do 4-6 plants, watering every other day probably but it's best to learn when the plants want watering and not working from some set schedule.
