Plucking old yellow leaves
During flower?
my experienced grower friend says that I should pluck fan leaves that cover smaller buds down near the bottom of the plant.
I was kind of wondering if that was ok to do even if they were nice and green.
But on the other hand, I have a few yellowing leaves that cover some buds, should I just pluck those or wait till they naturally fall off?
Plucking old yellow leaves
If it's more than 50% green, don't touch it.
If it's less than 50% green, give it a gentle tug. If it drops off, the plant was done with it anyway. If not, you can leave it, because some nutrients, like Nitrogen, are 'mobile' and the plant can actually suck them out of dying leaves and recycle them elsewhere.
Edit: I just noticed your siggy... very cool. Food for thought.
