Another embarrassment for McCain as two of his aides resign.
Two top aides to the Republican presidential nominee John McCain have been forced to resign over their ties to the Myanmar military junta.
Providing yet another embarrassment for McCain, Douglas Goodyear's connection to a lobbying firm that has represented Burma's military leaders threatens to highlight the role of lobbyists in McCain's campaign.
As chief executive of the DCI Group, a strategic public affairs and global issues management firm, Goodyear was paid $348,000 in 2002 to represent Myanmar's military junta which had been strongly condemned by the State Department for its human rights record and remains in power today.
While McCain publicly portrays himself as a crusader against special interests, many of his closest advisers are former or current lobbyists. Doug Davenport, another McCain aide and former DCI chief executive, has also quit.

The story come out and they resigned....I guess McCain could have said that they were like a crazy ol' uncle. If I recall, there was another candidate who's aid resigned due to ties with Hamas. :D
Have a good one!:s4:
