Small Interview--Can you help me?

This is an anonymous interview that I am conducting as a part of a cannabis legalization project. If you can please take the time to fill it out, I will be greatly appreciative.

In what ways has marijuana helped you, mentally and physically?

How do you feel about the government outlawing something that has helped thousands of people and not killed a single person on this planet?


For how long have you been using medical marijuana?


Was your doctor reluctant to prescribe cannabis to you?


What is your favorite method for consuming it? (Smoke, eat..)


Would you rather take prescription pills for the reason you are smoking, or continue with cannabis?


Would you recommend it to anyone who has a valid reason for smoking it?

those first two questions of yours are certainly slanted arn't they

1. Mentally: made me more aware of people and their actions, slowed my thought process a tad bit but nothing alarming, allowed me to perceive something from a new light which has given me new ideas. It's weird but it made me less lazy. Not when I'm doing it but like the next day. I just feel so relaxed that I can take on the cournicopia amount of homework I have. When I don't smoke and I don't have that chilled factor the next day I get lazy and fail to take it head on. Also because I do it everyday I feel like I need to compensate so I work out vigorously and study a lot harder to prove that I can smoke and still do well in life. Little strange but thats how it works for me.
Physically: Not a whole lot of good things. Nothing too bad but definitely nothing beneficial to me. Slight lung damage, the extreme munchies which I'm sure is doing something bad to me, otherwise its alright.

2. Well legalizing it would be beneficial to me and thousands more because essentially most people who smoke pot are not criminals because of pot but rather because of who they are individually. Should everyone smoke pot? Not at all. But should the people who decide to get high pay for it with a criminal record? Absolutely not.

3. I have never used Medical Marijuana in my life and I don't think I ever will not just because I'm not qualified but because I personally don't believe in MM. I think it's a political tool potheads use to justify legalization. Is it bad for you? Not really. Does it have medical uses? Yeah I'll admit it does but not nearly as much as everyones claiming. MM will not cure cancer or cleanse the lungs or yatta yatta yatta. Most people smoke for fun even the ones who claim they do it for medicinal reasons. there are only a few people in this world who actually do it because it benefits them medically but as for like 99% of the population, we do it because its fun. Now how long have I smoked pot? going on 3 years on and off.

4. Most of those doctors do it because they feel it should be legalized not necessarily legalized for medical uses....but to make the answer short never had one.

5. I personally just like to smoke with a nice glass pipe. Bongs are nice but they're really only good for when you have a bunch of people over and you wanna get ripped. Pipes are just right for when you have a few friends over and you just wanna chill. But to each is own.

6. Like I said I use it for fun purposes, however, if i had a serious condition I would most certainly use prescriptions. I only use pot for stuff like minor stomach pains or if I have a minor fever. If i had cancer I would probably still smoke it for fun but I would most certainly use prescriptions as well. It's like when I got my wisdom teeth taken out and got hydracodone. Is it addictive? Yeah. Is it more physically damaging than pot? Probably. But did it do the job better? You better believe it. I still smoked though lol.

7. I would if it seemed like a good reason. If the person appeared mentally stable and had his priorities straight but was always very angry or something like that then yes I would recommend it. Or if he was having trouble sleeping or something like that.

8. Both good and bad things have come from pot. I'm more selective about what I talk about and not just ramble on about nonsense which has made me a lot less annoying. I tend to be able to get my work done more and I can work out more as well. I am more selective about who and where I hang out now and I have trouble remembering stupid little things which can be annoying. I'm almost certain I've done some lung damage to myself and mad munchies is probably not that good for me either. It's made me more apathetic to things which can be both good and bad.

sorry, guess some of the questions may be slanted...didnt mean that in any bad way.

1. I don't toke anymore, but it has it's benefits. It relaxes you, alters your perception to see life differently, it's gives you pleasure.

2. The laws of the US government are excessive. However the legalization movement should be completely separate from the medicinal issue. Medicinal marijuana is a legitimate cause (not that legalization isn't but medicinal more urgent) and to mix it with stoner shit makes my blood boil. I now understand why Sundance changed this site and come to terms with it!

3. As a former cancer patient, I used marijuana illegally for relief from chemotherapy. $100 for a pill of Zofran for the uninsured. $100 for a quarter of marijuana. The choice is quite obvious, especially since marijuana was 100x more effective than Zofran. The uninsured need help in this country and the best thing that can be done is to not only permit medicinal marijuana but one that insurers must assist in paying for.

4. My oncologist suggested that I could via baked goods. Since medicinal marijuana is not legal, it's off the record comment.

6. Marijuana is far more effective to counter the effect of chemotherapy than pharmaceuticals.
