Failed a Drug Test Today

So here's my story. I'm 5'11", 180, pretty good shape, and smoked an 1/8 of an oz. of midgrade marijuana a day for 4 months straight. I also smoke cigarettes on a daily basis.

I QUIT 17 days ago and still tested positive today. I drank (8) 16 oz. cups of water leading up to the test and still failed. I pissed about 10 times before the test and didn't even sleep before I had to go in at 10am to take this test. I've even exercised a lot leading up to today but quit a few days. I also have been eating a bunch of fatty foods the past few days to try to get "fresh" new fat cells that don't have THC. Ive been taking vitamins, niacin, creatine, and protein and honestly I'm surprised I tested positive or I wouldn't have taken it.

What I SHOULD HAVE DONE. 1) I should have bought a test at Rite Aid or Walmart and tested myself 24 hours before. 2) I could have EASILY smuggled in someone else's piss as I was not observed. Everyone I know that has taken a urine analysis has never been watched. I also could have scoop up the toilet water to dilute the test even more. 3) Does aspirin really skew the test? I didn't take any but I took 2 ibuprofens before the test, no way I see that causing a positive result.

It's a shitty feeling having some old ugly creep lady telling you that you are not eligible for employment. I was upset at first but keep reminding myself that it was only for an $8.50/hour temp job. Still though, I just graduated from college and it sucks that everyone is testing.

Final thought. Whoever can develop a product that will help smokers get rid of THC in their fat quickly WILL BE A RICH MOFO. I can't wait for that day as it will really shake up the drug testing companies. It just amazes me that cokeheads and crack users can get clean faster than a marijuana smoker. Fuck this shit.
