How does Skunk #1 do outdoors

I recently purchased some skunk seeds and I will be planting in sunny florida. My past experience with outdoor grows in Florida has been bad. The sun is so strong it seems that the plants need to be in partial shade and the animals like to eat the young seedlings. Anybody have any experience growing in the florida climate in the summer specifically with the skunk #1 variety?

im in new york and i grew skunk#1 from dutch passion last year....i started em indoors in late march....i ended up with 5 females and harvested a pound...quite surprised i was with the yield...had a little bud rot at the end.
