Unexpected Scare... Turn lights back on or do I wait until morning?
I'm pretty sure the answer to this question is the following:
"Turn on lights back at their regular scheduled 'lights on' time"
but here is the question anyway.
I had a visitor this morning, luckily I was still home. I heard very light knocking. It appeared to be a maintenance man. I looked out my back window and confirmed a big old late 1980's bronco was out back with a ladder up top.
To make a long story short here we go:
I had unexpected visitors. I panicked and turned off the lights and ventilation. They didn't come back, thought I heard knocking again. Went back to the door and they were gone again. So I chose to leave my lights off.
Should I turn them back on for the remainder of their scheduled light period today or should I wait till tomorrow at 7am to have the lights come back on.
Which is less stress? The plants received about 1 hour of daylight today.
ps: The coast is clear. I setup several markers throughout the house so I could tell if they came into any area while I Was away. In retrospect I think the guy was here for my neighbors (Actually I know he was) and was just admiring my plants (veggies and herbs) I have growing on my front patio. Must've made some tapping sound when looking at them.
Just need to figure out when I'll be turning my lights back on.

just continue your lights at their regular schedule ...no harm is done ... in nature, plants frequently have dark periods (clouds, storms, etc.) ... it is interrupted DARKNESS, that causes problems .... :smokin:
