When is it best to force flowering?

Ive recently watched some videos on you tube and one of them said its best to force flowering after the plant is 6 weeks old is this true because i dont want to keep my plant in the vegative for about 5 weeks. when can i force to flower after 2weeks? 3weeek? plz tell me. can someone whos alredy grown a few tymes gimme some advice or tell me how long u keep in the veg stage. thanks..

or ye im looking 2 grow a skunk no1 original or super skunk, as my others have just been autoflowering

I'd say 4 weeks veg is the minimum you'd want to veg for. I've heard if you try to flower at say 2 weeks the plant still has to stay in veg mode till around 4 weeks when it reaches maturity before it can start to flower so all your really doing is derpriving the plant of light which could be used for additional veg growth. Do a search for logs that have had short veg periods and see what they're results are like.

Yeah I've always read that like 4+ nodes or around 4 weeks is the minimum but I haven't heard of an upper limit.
