40 gal.rubbermade?

I was looking over the forum when I jioned thinking and reasrching the best way(with good space)to grow good nugs.I seen the 20 gal.rubbermade and thanks to the guy who thought of it,enguines!

Now some questions.I was thinking about using (2)40 gal.rubbermade containter.Below is some questions.

1.)When the plants get above 2 1/2 ft. do I need to leave the box open so it won't burn the cola's or do I need to trim the plant?
2.)Would I still need to use the suggested lumans for the 20 gal.or need more lumans,if so then how many?
3.)I am planning on instaling a regular 3x5" fan for ventalation,since this is twice the size will I need 2?
4.)What will be the suggested pot sizes and how many could I fit in the box for good yields?

Anything else I need to know please let me know,and thank you to whoever thought of this!I will be sure to post pics when I done buying and keep everyone infromed.

I was thinking about going with either:Purple Haze,Blueberry,or White Widoe strains.

LOL, anyone who's ever grown White Widow will tell you that it's far from boring! It's an amazing high, and pretty forgiving of noob mistakes in the growroom. How, then, can you deduce that it (or any of the others listed) are boring? Have you ever grown them? Smoked them? Just heard about them so much on the internet that you feel the need to label them "boring"?

I seem to think the latter is the case. But, whatever, to each his own. Mind telling us and the OP which strains you find "exciting"? I'm really curious.

Hey Readytoride08,I personaly have never had a rubbermaid grow box but,for the light situation I would add more lights than with the 20 gallon as well as a higher CFM rated fan(being that you are basicly doubeling the size of the grow area)just to be safe,more light and air won't hurt.As for leaving the box open,if you are going with the original set up (one on top of the other) I don't see how you could leave it open being that one supports the other.If plant hight is a concern either go with a Indica domminant plant or do my personal favorite and LST her,or do both.good luck with your grow!!

I'm going to buy the containers today(finaly got the money)and the CFL'S,I am planning on running 6 cfl's and 2 fans on each side.Hopefuly I will be able to grow 2 plants seed to harvest.
