Does the smell of weed contain thc?

Like if someone were to be around some bud, or smell a nug, could they show up positive? It would probably take a lot but since weed doesnt have to be smoked to get in your system i wonder if it could be smelled enough?

there would be serial drug test ruiners running around public places in the nude streaking with a joint dangling from their lips! won't someone plz think of the children?!?!
