World views USA more positively

BBC NEWS | Americas | World views US 'more positively'

According to recent public opinion around the world the USA is seen in a more positive light. What do you guys think about this? I wonder what all the anti American people are going to say.

What the hell is with Israel on that poll? Seems damn funny that both Russia and China feel better about the U.S. than them. Maybe the people feel that we are holding them back from kicking some Hezbullah/Hamas ass:question:

I think the polls show how each country was rated by others not it's self in the world standing. So the 20% for Iran means that only 20% of the people surveyed from various countrys think Iran has a positive influence in world affairs.

^ :rastasmoke: that is funny cause i did the exact same thing when i first looked at that graph, i thought hmmm all the countries we have gone to war with like us best . . . :cool: so i guess this graph is saying most of the world thinks China and Russia are having a better influence on the world that the US. really? i mean no offense to my communist friends but . . . LOL thats not much to brag about lmao so only 47% instead of 52% the previous year thinks America is a bad influence in the world.Well look at it this way when u travel the world just remember to wear your Canadian flag T-shirt that way youll be loved :)

Well this article was important enough that out of all the countries the BBC surveyed they titled it "world views America more positively", even though Russia went up by 2% more then America did.
