Tool broke up yesterday!?!?!?!

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait...... what the hell.... wait....



I was just reading about Tool on Wikipedia (for any news of a new album), and Wiki said that Tool has disbanded as of April 1st, 2008, over creative differences and a lot of infighting. So I run over to their site, scour the news section, and nothing about it is mentioned.


Has this actually happened, or has some jackass just inserted some bullshit prank today or yesterday into Wiki? Because seriously, and I'll get grilled for this but.... 10,000 Days is hands-down and by far their most brilliant album to date.

im almost positive it's just some jackass... but i have some inside contacts i'll try to get to the bottom of this and post more when i find out. theyve begun writing (not recording just writing) their next album already (wich is also supposedly a double album) so I doubt they'd just break-up in the middle of a project...

also consider the date... april 1st... aka "April Fool's"
