Wrong forum. Please post grow Qs in the cultivation section, thanks. I'm moving this.
If it's not directly beneath the light, it's probably reaching for it. You can use a piece of coat hanger or something similar to stake it upright in case it tries to fall over. Once the stem strengthens, it also straightens up.
I've got a plant that is 13 days old that is almost LSTing itself. As a seedling it started out fine and straight. Then in the past week or so it just started slowly leaning to one side of the cup. Everyday I gave it a correctional nudge and packed dirt down one side to help hold it upright, but by the next day it's back to leaning again.
I have one other plant in the cab, and it's a bit older and doing fine. It definitely isn't reaching for light, as both plants have pretty tight nodes.
I'm not too worried about it since I'll be transplanting in a few days anyway. I figure I can just straighten it up a bit when I put it in the new pot, but I'm still curious as to why it's doing this.
It's just bagseed, but the herb it came from knocked me on my ass. Now I know why, looks to be almost %100 indica.
plants usually lean toward the light, is your light the way its bending towards?
