lose the hermaphrodite idea ... despite the 'female seeds' theory, you wind up with a strain that is hermaphrodite-prone, and in my opinion, 'genetic garbage' :wtf: ... the only secret to growing is 'patience' ... my advice: grow your seeds out, select the best resulting female, then clone from her ... (and, yes, your other plants will be pollinated (infected?) with the inferior pollen) ... good luck
Your girls in veg would have to be showing some actual pistils to get pollinated. I did a seed run off an OGK without ever flowering her, lol... just stuck her veggin' ass in with the male and she made a fine batch of seeds. I don't recommend this though- that cut was just bustin' out all over with calyxes and was a complete aberration. Most of the time you don't have enough female flowers in veg to get a significant crop of seeds- 1 or 2 at the most.
Do you have a good male from the same seed pack? That's a better bet for breeding.
Unless you know what you are doing, it isn't recommended. You can accidentally pollinate everything. Not necessarily a newbie technique. Re-vegging is simple, and I've seen a few threads about it around...Quote:

As with most things in nature, plants have a back-up plan. Since they are annuals, cannabis must reproduce in one season, because in the wild, they die in the winter. If the female plant hasn't been pollinated, she get's nervous, and takes matters into her own hands, throwing-out pollen, as a last-ditch effort to continue the species. This is a survival trait in virtually all cannabis plants. (not too sure about auto-flower strains, but have no experience with those) Every seed you grow, has the potential to utilize this survival technique. Does this make every seed a hermie? Are all your strains "garbage"? Mine aren't.
Likely is bad technique or handling of the femmed plant, but I stand by the technique. (as do many seed breeders, the Dutch...)
I can understand someone being reluctant to try new techniques, but not sure why that person would pass gossip off as fact, when indeed, it's not? The idea behind this arena, is to broaden our knowledge, not spreading the gossip.
