Drug Testing Coming Up

First, let me explain my situation. Last Monday I was caught with a pipe and 2 grams in my dorm room by the campus police. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts I was not able to stay in school and was basically forced to withdraw or I was facing a suspension.

Anyway, I am currently facing 2 misdemenor charges, one for each thing(I am hoping by pleading guilty for both one gets dropped), and hopefully going to enter the ARD program offered in PA to hopefully get my record clean. However, to my knowledge the ARD program comes with a mandatory drug testing probation period. Being that I have yet to hear anything in even regards to my case yet, I don't know when this all would happen, but I would like to be clean going into it in hopes that passing my first test would get on the good side of my PO and may get him to not test me as often(As I have heard of situations where people have been tested up to once a week to only being tested twice total, once in the beginning of the program and once at the end, which would be 6 months later).

So I guess my question is I have smoked about an eigth a week for the last year or so, and haven't smoked in the last 10 days. I guess my question would be what would be my best bet in making sure I pass the test? Assuming I don't test for another 2-3 weeks, would that be enough time to flush my system? Or should I start to detox myself naturally? I have already been drinking a lot of cranberry juice and water, and currently am about 6'1" and 225 lbs. I have what I would call a decent metabolism, not too great but not awful.

So yeah?

Also, any information on what people would expect with this situation would be good too. I know it is a rather small charge considering some, especially if I get the pipe charge dropped, but like, is it basically the disgresion of the PO to determine how often I am tested, or what?

Start exercising and running to increase your metabolism. Buy some metamucil and follow the recommended dosage. You dont have to drink shitloads of water or cranberry juice, its not gonna flush u faster. Just keep yourself well hydrated and maintain a healthy exercise regiment. I imagine they would watch u because of your situation so subbing may be out of the question. Some people can take up to 50 days to get clean so just make sure u abstain from here on out. Buy some cheap test strips and start to test yourself... Ebay has the cheapest but you can get them at Walgreen's.

If you've been clean for 10 days and you have 2-3 weeks, I would not be terribly worried. For 2 and 1/2 of those three weeks you need to break the lethargic stoner habit by exercising daily. AT LEAST 30 minutes per day of increased heart rate. The more the better. If your still on campus this should be easy. Jog 2 miles, play some pick up basketball games, hit the pool, etc. Exercising each day will be your best bet. Remember also that diet is important, soluble fiber is a good supplement to help keep your body working regularly, but for me that alone is not enough. When I am seriously trying to clean my body of toxins I want it to work as efficiently as possible. This means altering my diet ALOT from what I normally do, I mean ALOT. I stop with fast food and all day munching. I give myself three meals a day of home-cooked high calorie food (boosts metabolism) or at least store bought food that isnt covered in grease. If I snack its on power bars with lots of protein and vitamin supplements. Normally the first day of my detox the 2mile run is Arduous to say the least. I get stomach cramps from all the grease in my system, my lungs dont function nearly as well as they should. By the end, the 2 mile run is a warm up and leaves me feeling like I toked (all those lovely endorphins). The better you feel, the better your body is operating. Remember to keep it regular. With such a short amount of time you want your heart rate up Every day. An old saying from most sports is that if you skip a day of exercise it takes 2-3 days to get yourself back to the point you were before you skipped.

A bit of an update. I have been trying to remain clean thus far, and have been successful despite it being difficult. I started working out a lot more. Today I went up to Walgreens as well and bought one of the single trial $15 tests and after testing myself, according to the test, it said that it turned up negative, but the second line, which the "fadeness" depends on the level of THC I believe, was very fade and you could barely see it. Granted, I hope this test is reliable because this has reassured me my hope in passing. Being that I haven't even been told my charges yet, let alone court date or anything like that, I feel pretty confident. I plan on buying another one next week and see what I am at then.
