my clones are starting to turn yellow...please help
i have four clones that i just got two days ago, and some of my leaves are starting to turn yellow on the tips. All four are in 1.5" rockwool cubes and have a couple roots coming out the bottom. My set up is 3x3 with a 400w metal halide, two 4" fans. I would appreciate any feedback.:pimp:

Okay how about a little more info.
What type of setup is it? 3x3 what?
Your light is correct for your space.
Do you have exhasut fans or just air movement?
Now, about the clones. Clones DO tend to go yellow on the low leaves when they are fully rooted and saying FEEEEED MEEEEEEE. So what you are going to want to do is start them at a SUPER weak solution of your VEG nute. Use about 1/4 what the bottle recommends, or even less. How is the new growth? Can you put up pics? Are the little plants starting to stretch for light? When you see that, you can start gradually and carefully increasing your nutes. If the TIPS get scorched, ease back off again. Keep your pH correct as well.

I have 9sqft in my closet. I have a fan in there that keeps the temp at 82f. I dont have a hygrometer yet, but i will soon. I cut holes on top of a shoe box and placed the rockwool cubes in the holes so the roots dont touch the bottom. I believe i need to transplant them into a 4" pot or should i just put them in a 2 gallon. When i picked them up they were out of light for 13 hours so i think that is another reason stunted growth. Thanks for the info.

I just transplanted all 4 clones in a 3 gallon bucket with all natural garden soil 40%, perilite 40%, vermiculite 15%, and bone meal 5%. Does this sound ok? Considering the fact that the plants havent shown any growth for 3 days. Their has been a couple more leaves that are still turning yellow from the base of the leaves. Please help me

That's a lot of bone meal; might be too much. And very high ratio of lighteners to actual soil.
Can you post pics? Leaves of clones naturally turn yellow with age as the clone prepares for vertical growth. How is the NEW growth? Is it green?
You can try a WEAK foliar feed with a complete grow fert to slow this process, IF you are certain that they are FULLY rooted. Mix at 1/4 recommended strength.

Also remember the yellowing of clones is a nature process. Those leaves are providing food to the rest of the clone while waiting for roots to do the job.

Stinkyattic i havent used any nutes yet. I just purchased vigoro all purpose plant food 10-10-10. It says to use 4 tsp per 2 gallons of water, but i was going to use 1 tsp per 2 gallons of water. Total Nitrogen......10%, Amoniacal Ntrogen.....1.5%,Ntrate Nitrogen.....1.5%, Urea Nitrogen.....7.0% Available Phoshate(p2o5).....10% soluble Potash(k20)......10% Iron(fe)......0.10%, Chelated Iron....0.10 Chelated Maganese......0.05% Chelated Zinc....0.05%. They have been branching out alot since i transplanted them. when i water my plants should i water just the soil or soil and my plants as well. Should this be sufficent for my plants? If not what should i get? sorry i'm still trying to get a usb cord to put up pictures....Thanks for help guys:jointsmile:
