question

I cant tell if one of my plants is alive or not. It's still standing, and the leaves are still green, but it doesnt seem to be growing like the others, as they are all showing new growths. I thought if they died, it would fall over. Could it be dead, and still standing, with green leaves? They were transplanted outside about a week and a half ago. I know its a dumb question but I really need to know so I can throw another one in that hole. THANKS. The leaves on the other plants are reaching for the sun, while the ones on this one are just sitting there.

It's probably just in a little bit of shock from the transplant. Give it some more time. I doubt that it is dead. It would wither and dry up/die first.

this happened to me a number of times and i am pretty sure that its the soil. Is it in seedling soil? if so i would transplant out of that and into something with a bit of nutrients in it already, not slow release food but something like earthworm castings, this worked wonders for me. If you are using the soil that is outside in the ground then i have no idea.
