A Question For Growers

I had a question that was bugging me, and i figure the growers could help me with this one.

I know that as trichomes mature, they go from cloudy(more head high) to amber(more body).

My question is, if someone was trying to grow, say their strongest sativa, would they harvest their grow when the trichs are cloudy or ambery? would harvesting when the tichs are more cloudy make a sativa stronger in the head high area?

PS I am not growing, and proabably never will. I just thought of this question sitting in bed lol. Thanks:thumbsup:

How much % amber the grower harvests at is personal preference, anywhere from 5-20% amber is common. I know a grower who harvests just as soon as, or even a hair before, all the trichs have gone milky, to maximize the head effect, regardless of the % amber. It's quite personal but 10-15% amber is what you will see most often.
