I see pics that arent mine?

This little snafu has happened before, but in emails not while on the internet. I open a attachment for 1 picture, oce open it has right left arrows and if I click on them it appears its from the senders IMG/jpeg folder on thier computer.

Today I was looking at someones pics here (not on email just photos in a thread), and something I clicked opened a new folder and I picked download or some crap??? Once it downloaded it was the pic I was veiwing on C.com, but its got those arrows & I click those arrows at the bottom and I am looking at someone elses pics. Not ones they posted on here, but definitley not my pics.

So I almost let it go again, but in my pics just now and somehow it opened up a folder called Microsoft Office Picture and I recognized all the folders by name except 1. Its that persons stuff here I clicked on earlier today!! The file name is different then all my files.

Clicking on the properties of these pics I can see thier camera model, and such but the crazy thing is I see some pics that :S3:
are nothing to do with mmj, some are my pics mixed in this folder now, some are the icons we post next to our names. Some are football, the banners here, OC FLORIDA Sheriffs patch, lots of coffee maker images.,.........etc.

How does this get on my computer? Why does half of it look like images I viewed or are pics I have and the rest are things I never would have looked at here at this computer? Nope no one else is on this computer but 1 a year tops. I see several avatars from Can Com but not everyones? I see some of us have some other common interests, but I know I am looking at images that did not get saved because I was looking at them they came from somewhere else.


Im worried I could send things out I dont mean too, to people I didnt want to see things even for instance anything here on Can.com........ What can I do or can I even do anything?

They're called cookies. They live in the 'temporary files' folder on your computer.
Most sites use them. The pics you don't recognize are from some other site you, or someone using your computer, visited.
