drying buds
did they get rid of the poll section on here??
i was going to do that but couldnt find it.
when drying buds....who likes hanging and who likes screens...and why.
i have enough space that that isnt an issue, i was just wondering if there was any real difference between hanging or laying on a screen.
thanks

i have personaly done both ways and have not seen much of a difference. the 1 thing is try and keep good airflow in the same room but dont put a fan on them

i think i may do both...see which one i like better(this is my first
grow)
does light matter?(does it need to be in a dark area or anything?)
thanks again

would something like this be good/worth the trouble?
you said no fan, will the air being pulled out be too strong?
i dont think i would bother with the carbon scrubber(already have one in use) but the tub and a small fan seems strizzle... maybe a computer fan...
and never mind about the light question...found my answer

you want good ventilation in your drying area
you can have fans in the same area but do not point the fan on the buds point it in the back corner away from the plants. if you have good enough ventilation you shouldnt need a fan.

I don't worry about the light. Mine dry in my flowering room. The reason we say dark is because you don't want them in the sun. Your swag was dried in the open. Your good stuff dried indoors.
Of course I don't hang them 'under' the lights-- just in the same room.
The reason most people hang their plants is it's convenient.

I didn't know about the, laying them on a screen method. This might work perfect for me. I have a drawer on top of my grow cabinet, so this might solve my problem of not knowing were to put my harvest to dry. Mostly because I want to be able to keep growing immediately after harvesting.
