Hey guys, I was just wondering if you have a bag of weed in a place where it's under pressure or being sat on a lot, like inside your wallet, will it lose potency? Like after I take it out it's compressed from being sat on but when I take it out and fluff it out it's back to normal, but I was just wondering if being sat on inside a wallet or whatever will someone lose thc. Thanks a lot
The short answer is no.
The long answer is yes.
It won't affect the potency right away, but over time, smashed trichomes oxidize faster than unbroken ones.
Why would it? Maybe some trichomes will get stuck to the bag, but that's about it.
Thanks for the reply guys. So you don't think I'll notice a loss of potency by the trichomes sticking to the bag if it's in a wallet or whatever for like a week or two?
I had a bag of some buds I kept grabbing outta here and there that I had stashed in my back yard under a stack of patio bricks. needless to say the bag ended up flat as a US quarter when I forgot about it. I didnt notice anything when I remembered and smoked it, Id assume if you left it like this for a really long time maybe.
Ya dude I think your right it doesn't do anything. I just smoked a bowl of it and am baked outta my mind lol so ya that's the answer to the question.
