How stealthy can you grow in an apartment building ?
I was thinking
If i was growing in an Apartment building. lets say maybe with 2 x 400w (or something that would not raise suspicion with the electrical company) ..
How stealthy could you get with the equipment that is commonly available to amateur growers today ?
How well do these filters and ozone generators really work and what about sound dampening ?
I was thinking that an apartment on the top floor on the corner of a building would be best suitable.
My plan would be to devote an entire small room for the grow. This room would always be locked and i would tell visitors that it was a storage or something.
I have been reading alot about growing in the past, and have had 2 successful grows with 400w hps lamps. Back then i was growing in an attic with very primitive ventilation (open roof-window and a large desk fan, and no odor control) the only thing i cannot figure out by reading about the various equipment is exactly how well it really works.
And allso if anyone could point me to some good stores where i could order equipment or give me an idea of a good setup. I am ready to spend upto like 6000$ (maybe more) on this project. All help will be greatly appreciated.

This all depends on what you're looking to get out of your system. If you're looking to build a perpetual growing system, you'll need to think about separate areas for vegging plants/clones and flowering plants. Again, this is all dependent on your expectations.
I'll tell you this, for $6000 you can build just about anything. If you meant to write $600, then you'll want a good balance between money spent on lighting and money spent on ventilation. That's not including growing mediums, nutrients, timers and thermo/hygrometers, etc. Read back through previous posts in the growing forums, there's an almost unlimited amount of information free for the taking.
I've ordered from Discount Hydroponics several times, and have always been pleased with them.
