How moist do you like your bud to be?

How moist do you like to keep your bud once you get it? I know that you can place a piece of apple or an orange peel into a jar of bud to get the marijuana to absorb moisture, but does anyone know how moist is too moist and allows for the growth of mold?

Also, from my experience, grinding the weed up and leaving it in your jar like that creates a large surface area : mass ratio, which allows for greater moisture loss.

I tend to keep my bud on the dry side of normal, simply because it burns so easily like that. Also, it's easy for me to get high and then spend hours grinding my weed into a fine near-powder. Perhaps I'd get a smoother smoke if it were moister and I left it all attached until just before I smoked it.

What do you think? What are your preferences?

I like my nugs really airry, soft and fluffy, and very dry... like melt in your mouth, but for weed its like just fall apart and melt into your hand when you just barely grip it to break it up :) mmmm

if you are going with the orange peel, I would say just a small sliver of peel, maybe 1inch by 1 inch of peel for every quarter Just make sure to open the jar for a few minutes every single day, maybe a lsight shaky skakey... to prevent mold.

Oh, I always try to buy really dry pot, because I know how much weight even a little water can add.

But I meant, so far as retaining it for your own personal use. I find that when my bud has more moisture, it burns slower, which is good for me because it means I cough less. With that said, I normally keep mine pretty dry.

not sure if its how weed always 'should be' but i know im happy when its like that.

nice and crispy. a slight bend of the stem and a crack normally makes me smile.

crisp, clean, dry nuggets (hella crystals:clap:) is the best. crumbles when you load it.
moist bud gives my throat a good ass-kicking, i hate it.

I hope for the moist ones, but I like to dry it out for an hour before I light it up because it extracts from the bud faster if it is dry, but it won't have the same intensity if it is moist.

I don't like moist bud...

haha good stuff bro... I rarely get bud like that, but we will see after this next grow... You ever harvest/cure any bud to that perfection?
