outta room

Hello everyone. I want to thank all of you for helping me raise my plant. Unfortunately, I didnt visit this site until 2-4 weeks into my first grow. I have done everything wrong to this poor plant. Not intentionally, I just didnt know any better. I have, since then, developed a deep sense of respect for you all. I dont know what to call all of us. But were like a brotherhood. People looking for answers or advise and people sharing what they know. :thumbsup: anyway, Ill get to the problem. Im running out of height in my room. My girl is three wks into flowering. What can I do?

CAREFULLY bend it over and tie it down.
Just don't snap the stem.

I had exactly the same thing happen on my first grow. I did exactly what psteve suggests. It was actually beneficial in that when I bent it over, the bottom buds recieved much more light However it wasn't ideal. Next time top your plant early to stop it getting so tall. You'll also get more main colas and a better overall yield. Check that the strain is okay bieng topped tho... theres a few finiky strains that won't yield more if topped. Chronic is one I think.

I never top. I train the top colas to grow sideways using LST.

I don't have a choice about topping cos my row space is so small :(

I found a way to move my light up a couple more inches so I'll start training now.
