Milk-Tea Weed
So I've heard about people trying to make tea weed, and honestly I don't know if it works because I have never tried it fearing I would waste my bud. BUT, what I do understand is in order to extract THC from bud you need some type of fatty substance (hence why butter is often used as the standard for marijuana baked goods).
So I was contemplating different methods of extraction thinking about different fatty liquids (and there aren't many) so of course the most common fatty drink came to mind - MILK!
Now, around where i live (FL) we have Milk Tea, which is basically tea mixed with milk, about 1/2 and 1/2, but you make very strong tea. (1 mug made with two tea bags for example).
so would it be possible to saute your weed in milk in order to extract the THC then mix it with your tea?

i'm not sure cooking weed in milk would work, i think the milk would curdle and get gross. I think another way of extracting should be used instead of milk.

Depends on how hot you get the milk or cream (cream would be better, but milk is cheaper. Just try for whole milk). If it goes to a boil, it will curdle. If you can manage to keep it just cool enough so that it doesn't, then yes, that should be sufficient to draw out the THC within a fairly long amount of time (hour or two of lots of stirring, probably) Just make sure your weed is broken up into as powdery as you can make it to ensure maximum surface area to mass ratio.
:-)
After cooking, strain it, then mix in with the tea as normal, I suppose :-)
.............now I really want to try this.

I have made "enhanced" Chai Tea a few times similar to the method bluebird describes. i used a mixture of heavy cream and Half & Half. Simmered very finely ground buds for a few hours, then strained. Mixed with Chai or espresso in the style of a latte.
Good clean meditation

Milk-Tea Weed
After searching the web for a while I have come to the conclusion that this is a bit popular and it does in fact work. The key being to cook the cannabis in milk or make cannabutter and add it to the tea with your fresh cream and sugar.
I also wish to try this, I think I will low simmer whole milk or half and half for at least an hour with a couple of tablespoons of unsalted butter and honey sweetened to taste. I am assuming this will make for a wonderfully rich base to do a chai or eggnog. I am not sure which I will try first.
I might just do a whole carton and put it back in the fridge after straining it, then I can just use it in my coffee and tea whenever I want.
