Growing Outdoor plants Indoors~
For anyone that can answer a question pretty please.:D :D
~ What happens if you grow an "Outdoor" plant Indoors ex/ Purple Widow, Purple #1 etc. Using the same techniques you would with any common Indoor strain. ex/ Diesel, Widow etc. ??
Is it possible to grow those Indoor???
All information is much appreciated~!!!
Thanks~

Look at the plant's structure and heritage.
Large, leggy tropical sativas don't do well indoors without extraordinary additional planning and effort.
Others should be fine.

Thanks Stinky.
Have you had any experience with Purple Widow? How would this strain do indoors?
And when you mean not do well, does that mean greater chance of dying, or less yield etc.?
Can it still be done..
Thanks ;)

Never grew any of the Widows.
I mean they get tall, take up a lot of space, are difficult to light efficiently, and take forever to finish flowering. Which does indeed mean they have a greater chance of dying in the hands of a new grower lol since SO many first-time grows end up in a race with the clock to finish the plant before cultural problems catch up with it.
Plus the bud density on sativas can be disappointingly low. Stick with something designed for indoors while you are learning. NL, Skunk, Afghani, Power Plant, etc...

Ya i planned on getting a real "indoor" strain such as a Power Plant etc.
But i really want some PURPLE!!! hehehe:jointsmile:
I figured i'd get some Purple Widow seeds while i get the others and attempt to grow indoors. I just didn't know if it could be done. They look so damn pretty!! I read one of your other posts and noticed you said that they are indeed pretty but kinda crappy. I agree with that, but i want to attempt to grow some Purple Widow regardless indoors.
Any tips on attempting this task ? hehe Thanks  ;)

I don't know the purple widow- purple strains bred ONLY to be purple are a crapshoot. Not all purple strains suck. There are some absolute GEMS out there- urkel and GDP are notable but good luck finding them if you don't live in Cali.
Last time I checked, the Widow family IS an indoor line so I'm not sure what the problem would be.

Ya. Purple Widow is Purple and White Widow hybrid. It's optimal outdoors. I wanted to try that pretty thing indoors :) .
