Quick Substitution question...

Hello everyone, I was recently hired and am being asked to take a drug test. I smoke all the time, so I'm forced to use subtitution. This isn't a problem, as I have a clean roommate who is willing to provide the sample for me.

I plan on following the stickied substitution guide up top, but have a few more concerns. Mostly, I'm wondering, for employment drug testing, if they EVER watch you urinate, or if you are always given a room to do it in. This is my biggest concern - that I'll have this awesome plan, and then I get there and find out I have to urinate in front of somebody else or behind a screen that makes it difficult to futz around with containers.

I read in the sticked substitution thread that it is unlawful for them to watch you for pre-emplolyment screens, and I'm just curious if that information is accurate. I don't care about criminal drug testing procedures.

The HR guy at the company also said that they'd have results in 24 hours. Does this say anything about the drug test in terms of how comprehensive it will be? If the results are obtained that quickly, could I use some type of synthetic urine as well? Something about carrying my friends urine on me grosses me out, but I'm willing to do it if I have to.

They never watch unless you give them a reason to watch. Synthetic urine is definitely the way to go. Just practice to get the temp right.

Geez, I hope I never have to sub. I think I would pass out from the stress.

Killerweed, I assume you've personally used a synthetic product such as quick fix? I live in Illinois, so I can't purchase these products in stores, I'd have to order them. I'm thinking about getting a bottle - and I will definitely be practicing. I'd just like to hear that these work for the majority of users. As I said, my roommate is willing to provide a clean sample. But, if synthetic works pretty much flawlessly, I'd prefer that.

One of my friends is also willing to lend me his wizzinator if anyone thinks that drastic of a step should be taken?

And redrum, the stress that's gone into getting this job in the first place is notable. So notable, that this drug test feels like a day out sailing. Instead, the fact that a job I've worked so hard to get is ultimately determined by something as insignificant as my proclivity to smoke cannabis frustrates me to no end.

Yea, im thinking i would prob use fix instead of someone elses. What if it spills on you? lol
So you cant even buy any product in head shops? The manufacturer of the Fix has a store locator on their website with head shops...see if you can get it that way.

They never observe unless you give them a reason to. And yes myself and a lot of people here have personally used QF and it always works.Just practice to keep the temp right. A whizzinator is really unneccesary unless you are on probation and being observed.

Well, I put in my online order for quick fix last night. Should be here tomorrow. I've also found out the location of the drug test. I have a friend who was tested there and he vouches for it - says they're pretty chill. I'm feeling pretty good about this. I'm just gonna practice, practice, practice. When the time comes I'm thinking of having my buddy drive me. It's so cold outside, I'm worried that if I take the bus or walk there that the sample will drop in temp.

Spectrum Labs (QF manufacturer) will not ship the QF to Illinois. You could still search the bordering states in their store locator.
If the store locator draws a blank, Google search for Quick Fix synthetic urine. You'll find a vendor or two that can ship to your state.
