roughly about 50-75% of it's weight will be lost during drying, this however depends on how dey your soil and plant are when you harvest.
i had a top cola off a northern lights, weighed 2 and a half oz when harvested and just over half oz when dried.
a lot of dealers sell weed that is still slightly damp because it's heavier, so you get less weed for your pound / buck.
so im saying its nearer the 75% loss.
if u lose 75% weight drying then there wasn't anything in it to start hardly. wow what a loss.---lose 10 -25% and it was grown good bud.
I'd say about 75% as well. For a commercial grower their main interest is money so yeah they'll sell bud a bit wet to get their yield up. But personal growers tend to go for quality, less water weight means that gram for gram there is more THC and cannabinoids than water. So overall yield is less but real smokable material and psychoactive compounds would be the same.
Cheers folks,
I thought it might be about 50%. but 75% doesn't sound to extreme.
Cheers.
