Word association, Geography-style!

I just thought of a list of states and major cities that represent a typical group stereotype.

California - laid back stoner/hippy surfer/skater attitude
LA (Needs it's own seperate stereotype) - Gangstas (not to be confused with Gangsters, which would be the 1920s version of New York City)
New York City - Mafia, real uptight
Washington D.C. - Government stiffs
Detroit - Hispanic gangs & poor minorities
Arizona/New Mexico/Texas - Cowboys
Alabama/Louisiana/Tentucky/Tennessee - Hicks
West Virginia - Inbred cannibal families
Minnesota & Canada - Hockey players and mounties.. you know, Canadians, eh.
Alaska - Eskimo
Mexico - Mexicans
Washington State - Beatnicks, grunge rockers
Northeast (Massachusetts, Maine, etc) - Fishermen & Sailors
Rhode Island - Rich snobs
Idaho - Potatoes
Montana - Barren wasteland with a few cities, all with the average population of 15.

Add to the list of you can think of anything. Heck, since I think I covered most states, let's branch out and get countries around the world.
