thanks but it doesnt say what a good cfl is like i want to know if it needs to be full spectrum etc basically i want to know if these lights are good enough to use they are 42 watt phillips the link is: Philips - 42W Twister Compact Fluorescent Lamp Medium Base 2700K - 139774 - Home Depot Canada

Ebays got lots of good ones in red and blue spec, some are cheaper than others. the 250 watt one i got was £80 with next day delivery and came with reflector and easy rolls, but didnt say the lumen rating best bet to look for one that tells u that
i would definitely buy the big 200 -250 watt bulbs but i am worried the bulbs wont work with my cheap little outlet things, they are the kind that plug into the outlets do you know if they would work in these cheap little sockets?
and psteve i plan on using them for both veg and flower but during flower i plan to throw a little 150 watt hps on them as well and thanks a ton for the cheapo lighting guide lol its excellent
Here in the US I notice most packages I see don't list the kelvin rating.
With that said Daylight bulbs tend to be good for flowering and Bright white are good for Vegging.
