LR2 Hey... genetics experts, riddle me this!

Two LR2 females, #1 started flowering one full week ahead of #2, however as harvest approaches, #2 has finished flowering (more cloudy trichomes) well ahead of #1. Same environment, nutes, lights etc.
Could this be due to genetic variation on a relatively new strain... and if so, is this what is referred to as "phenotype variations"?

Assuming all plants were grown under identical conditions, that is.

I kinda figured so... and although this sounds unlikely; I sure hope plant #1 doesn't go completely sativa on me and take some ridiculous amt. of time to finish!
