Can this actually work?
hey guys, im pretty new to growing so I need your opinions on this one. My first attempt at growing was a disgrace, I didn't read shit and I had 3 plants growing in one pot of soil under a kitchen light with 3 regular bulbs not even CFL's. (this is after I moved them inside permanantly after having them outside from day 1) Some how the plants actually grew to almost 2 ft over the course of a few months but they were shitty and eventually got a bad case of spider mites. I decided to start over and try and clone two of the plants, however I took the top 3" of the plants (the only remaining portion untouched by those fuckin' mites) and moved them into rockwool cubes despite the fact that they were already flowering. I left the cola's?? (i think thats the name for the bud on the very top) in tact and have placed the two clones in my grow closet. I'm now running a 48" white flourescent light with a 24" aquarium/plant flourescent, as well as two 100W CFL's; all of which have been on 24/7 for about a week. Do I have any real shot at getting successful clones, or should I just buy some legit ones from the club and start over?

Get legit ones from the club. Look over grow logs, flourescents are to hot. Stick with 4 CFL's if you dont get a HPS. They will give the right light spectrum for your grow. Peace.

CFLs run hotter than tube flouros...
Tubes are great if you can keep the canopy close, and FLAT. Plant/aquarium lights aren't as good as 'cool white' or 'dyalight' tubes, despite being super expensive.
