College Grow Experiment

So i have decided to grow at college...stupid decision as some of you may say but i'm just seeing if i can actually do this...my roommate is down with this...and he is also there to let me know if this gets out of hand...aka obvious to anyone else that i am growing...if this happens then i am perfectly fine with scrapping the plants and waiting til i have a better place to grow but as of now i am experimenting with it...hopefully i will learn some valuable information that will help me in more serious grows...i will upload pictures tomorrow hopefully...anyways i am going to be using the lst method and possibly some root trimming to keep these plants manageable...but like i have said this is really just a learning process...in less than 48hours i have had quite some significant growth to my plants...anyways plz give any input/encouragement...thanks

oh and by the way i trust my roommate he would never rat me out or tell anyone else because we have known each other for almost 15 years now...also just letting you know this is bagseed from some pretty damn good smoking experiences

are you living in dorms or an apartment or a house your parents bought you? if youre living in dorms or an apartment complex, just remember that you probably arent the only one who has keys to your place. in apartments maintenance people can jut pop in at random and dont think they wont report you. also, wth dorms, just dont grow if youre doing it in a dorm. the benefits arent worth the risk at all. if youre insomething you own or a place where only you and your roommate have access to you are golden. just be smart and dont tell anyone! keep it to yourself!

i actually have experienced and did what you are doing in college. I started a plant in my dorm, but killed it when i realized how smelly it was. Then waited til i was in a house up at college and did it successfully while learning. I learned even more the second time i grew, and also with the 3rd....i have better buds becuz of it today and i got help from people around forms such as this one and ive become one of those people helpin with the information that i know. I was on natureshigh.com forums for the longest time, but as far as i know they destoryed the forums when it went down so no one got their IPs tracked and such. But ive been on this forum for a good bit as well...the people around here are the best so you've come to the right place IMO:thumbsup:

well i wish i was living in an apartment but my parents don't pay for my stuff so i can't get an apartment until next yr....but maintenance men don't come in our room because we have no sink or bathroom in there...they are all in our suite area...

That's what you think.
My buddy works at a college for the health and safety department (mostly lab inspections). When school isn't in session, INCLUDING ON BREAKS, and even whenever things are a bit slow, or they get any sort of smell complaint, they bring DOGS through the dorms and check EVERY ROOM. This college has over 20,000 students.

IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR EDUCATION TO GROW A PLANT IN YOUR DORM ROOM. YOU WILL GET CAUGHT.

you shouldn't grow in your dorm. that is rediculous. the school completely owns ur room and can come in at any time for any reason, i lived in the dorms last year. i now live in a house and it is still a little sketchy when we have friends over and stuff. the only way my grow is working right now is because i am the ONLY one who knows about the little cabinent grow. if u really want to grow find a good friend who is in a house and split the costs with him. just my 2 cents

When I was staying in a dorm, there was a resident adviser on our floor who would check in on all rooms nightly. Not to mention the random people my roommate brought to our room, maintenance personnel, etc. Like everyone else has told you, there's a good chance that someone is going to discover what you're doing...and when they do, you can kiss your education (and probably your freedom) goodbye.

If you're interested in growing, you might want to think about outdoor grows until you're living in a more secure setting. At least that way, if someone stumbles across it, you're a little less likely to be incriminated/incarcerated/expelled.

It seems that wise heads have chimed in here.
I'm not going to allow any grow logs in either college dorm rooms or parents' homes without their permission.
This one is over before it even begins.
